Diversity Committee

Smith Moore Leatherwood's Diversity Committee is a standing committee that includes, among others:
 

  • The firm’s Managing Partner to ensure coordination and consistency among firm initiatives and strategy.
  • A representative of the Recruiting Committee to ensure our recruiting practices are best implemented to attract a diverse and talented pool of lawyers.
  • A member of the Associates Committee to promote an inclusive, collegial environment in which associate lawyers are encouraged and supported to grow, develop, and succeed.
  • The firm's Chief Operating Officer, who provides staff support and works with the Management Committee and Office Administrators to address diversity issues related to staff members.
