Cooper
Harrell
Cooper Harrell has a civil litigation practice with a focus on commercial matters. Cooper also is a member of the Firm's appellate practice group and maintains an active appellate practice. He has represented clients, both small and large, in state and federal trial courts in North Carolina, as well as in other jurisdictions. Cooper's appellate experience includes cases pending before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. While his practice focuses on business and commercial disputes, insurance coverage, and product liability defense, Cooper also has experience in cases involving premises liability, challenges to federal administrative regulations, and toxic torts.

- Bank of America Corp. v. SR Int'l Bus. Ins. Co., SE, No. 05 CVS 5564, 2007 WL 4480057 (2007 NCBC 36) (N.C. Super. Ct. Dec. 19, 2007), insurance coverage dispute involving, among others, a claim for bad faith denial of coverage.
- Carlton v. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., 413 F. Supp. 2d 583 (M.D.N.C. 2005), aff'd, No. 06-1125, 2006 WL 2141630 (4th Cir. July 31, 2006), product liability dispute arising from an alleged tire failure.
