Stanislav
Antolin
Stan Antolin is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property group. His experience ranges from counseling individual inventors through Fortune 100 companies. Stan's degrees in and experience with materials science and engineering processes have served this diverse group of domestic and international clients well as they have sought to establish a competitive advantage through the use of intellectual property. Examples of business areas in which Stan's clients participate include tooling, medical device, pharmaceutical, biochemical, materials technology, and specialty chemical. He is involved in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and appeals before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences; preparation of patentability, validity, freedom-to-use and noninfringement opinions; intellectual property licensing, and litigation support. Most recently, Stan served as an associate with an intellectual property boutique. Prior to that position, he served as patent counsel for Kennametal Inc., in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Stan started his career in intellectual property with a five-year stint as a patent agency/engineer for Lanxide Corp. in Newark, Delaware, where he had previously worked as a research engineer. Stan has prepared and prosecuted numerous applications for patent protection in the United States, Japan, and throughout Europe. He is also the co-inventor on six U.S. patents.
