Walter Boyd is a member of the firm's litigation practice in Greensboro.    He focuses primarily on litigation and client counseling for both domestic and international clients.    He has also handled a significant amount of work in the areas of patent prosecution, licensing, and government contracts.    Mr. Boyd addresses a variety of technologies in the chemical, metallurgical and mechanical areas and has had experience with cases involving diverse items such as airplane brakes, breast implants, plastics and polymers, pharmaceuticals, and propellers.

Mr. Boyd has participated in a variety of litigations throughout the United States.  He has served as second chair in litigations and has participated in appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.   He has been involved in all facets of litigation from document review to drafting motions and presenting oral arguments on discovery motions at trial.
