Aaron Pohlmann's areas of practice include ERISA, employee benefits, employment, and life, health, and disability insurance litigation.  Since completing a federal judicial clerkship, Mr. Pohlmann has represented employers, ERISA plan fiduciaries, third-party administrators, insurers, and managed healthcare entities in a wide variety of litigation.  Mr. Pohlmann has extensive experience in Georgia federal and state courts, and has handled matters in Tennessee and South Carolina courts. 

Mr. Pohlmann holds several leadership positions in the American Bar Association.  He is the chair-elect of the ABA TIPS Life Insurance Law Committee, is a Vice Chair of the ABA TIPS Employee Benefits Committee, and is Executive Editor of the ABA TIPS TortSource periodical.  Mr. Pohlmann is a past Vice Chair of the ABA TIPS Health and Disability Committee, and the former website editor for the ABA TIPS Life Insurance Law Committee.  Mr. Pohlmann was a 2008 graduate of the ABA TIPS Leadership Academy.

Mr. Pohlmann is a three-time contributing author to ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits (American Bar Association, 2005, 2007, 2009), and has written numerous articles on ERISA and Life, Health, and Disability litigation in various publications of the ABA and the Defense Research Institute.  Mr. Pohlmann has planned and moderated ABA continuing legal education seminars in the areas of HIPAA compliance and health insurance litigation.
