Health Care Management Counseling

The attorneys in the Health Care Team are extremely well-versed in health care business operations and management counseling.  On a day-to-day basis, we provide daily "general counsel" advice to hospitals, nursing homes, physician groups, and other organizations in the health care industry on a wide range of health care regulatory matters.  We also have great knowledge in "crisis management," when needed, and effectively participate as members of our clients’ management teams.

Routinely, we prepare and negotiate a wide variety of business contracts for clients, and we counsel and assist management on many issues.  Some of these issues include tax counseling, patient care, informed consent, confidentiality of medical information, employee relations and employee benefits, peer review protections, medical staff relations and credentialing, infection control, insurance planning and analysis, clinical practice guidelines, and board governance issues.
