Raleigh, N.C. – Smith Moore Leatherwood is pleased to announce that George Nelson has been promoted to the position of Marketing Technology Manager for the 165-attorney regional law firm.
In his new role, Nelson will manage and provide guidance of the firm’s marketing technology programs and products to keep the firm on the leading edge in both internal and external technology. He will also work with firm leadership, industry and client teams, and the marketing team to incorporate technology resources to help build the firm’s reputation in its relevant markets and with key constituents.

Prior to his promotion, Nelson spent the past ten years working as the firm’s web administrator. He is a graduate of State University of New York College at Old Westbury with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
