Smith Moore Leatherwood is sponsoring a Stormwater Engineering Group Workshop on August 21st in Raleigh. Beth Trahos is the featured speaker.
The purpose of the workshop is to discuss with lawyers and other professionals the general principles of engineering design, installation and maintenance for common storm water best management practices so that they can better assist their clients as they buy, sell, develop, lease, or otherwise utilize real property. Instructors will discuss the likely direction of federal law, state law and local stormwater regulations, in addition to recent case law.
The training will be from 9 am to 4:15pm with registration starting at 8:30am. Lunch, workshop materials and refreshments are included in the registration fee.
Continuing Education: CLE credit for attorneys is pending in North Carolina.
